Hi Brave Creator! I am the award-winning author of Braving Creativity, Artists Who Turn the Scary, Thrilling, Messy Path of Change into Courageous Transformation.
Like many creatives, my path has had its twists and turns! But the biggest change came when, at age forty four my husband died.
Before then, I had a two decades long career as an executive-level fundraiser and planner in the non-profit arts arena, and have a masters in Performance Studies from NYU. Three years before my husband died, I co-founded of my own non-profit presenting organization for mid-career artists.
The time after his death was spent rewriting the beliefs and stories I had about change and what success looked like for me.
During Covid, I was finally ready to quit my full-time job. That's when I began my coaching business full-time, and wrote my book a year later (All while sending kids to college and moving from their childhood home!)
I am a certified creativity coach with the Creativity Coaching Association, and hold certificates from the Coaches Training Institute and New York University’s Inner MBA program in conscious leadership practice.
I love coaching, cooking and walking trains with my pup and my partner!
